Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute
The Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute is an educational partnership between Yale University and the New Haven Public Schools designed to strengthen teaching and learning in local schools and, by example, in schools across the country.

Carnegie Mellon University
In December 1998, Carnegie Mellon University, Chatham College, and the Pittsburgh Public Schools received jointly a grant from the DeWitt Wallace-Reader's Digest Foundation with which to found the Pittsburgh Teachers Institute. The Institute replicates, as closely as possible, the 20-year-old model developed by Yale University and the New Haven Public Schools.
