The unit “Harry Potter: The Hamlet of the 21st Century” has been designed to teach elementary students, either if they are in regular, ESL or Bilingual programs. This unit is going to help elementary students to discover Shakespeare, his time and work. We, teachers, may think this is difficult, but in this didactic unit, the students are going to compare Hamlet to Harry Potter, a character that all elementary students know very well. This is going to make the teaching process easier and more appealing to students.
